FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION CONFERENCE CENTER EXPANSION DESIGN & PCAS, WHITE OAK CAMPUS, Silver Spring, MD

Project Overview

NKB was retained by GSA on behalf of the FDA to provide complete design services for additional conference and training rooms in Building 51. The expansion of these conference rooms increases the capacity and function of Rooms 1211, 1215 and 1219 into multiple conference rooms. The intent of this scope of work expands and modifies the three existing conference rooms with new walls, doors, lighting, ceiling (or renovated ceiling), carpet, paint, millwork, operable walls, upgraded HVAC, upgraded AV systems, and upgraded electrical systems. The new conference room suite will meet ADA compliance with all necessary safety features in accordance with GSA/FDA’s White Oak campus security and safety requirements.
